LEO Privacy have the tracking feature to help you. It helps us to track where our device is available when it had stolen. Newly they had introduced Harras Inter which helps us to block spam calls..I really like it.

I am sorry to say that it's not possible. Even if you have the IMEI No. of your handset, you should have registered it with your Service/Network Operator when you were using the phone with your sim card activated, otherwise you'll never be able to track the handset. Hope this helps.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I have lost my lg kp500 mobile imei number 352701030890765 in bangalore while entering into bus ten days back.can u plz help me out.

If you have not done so yet, you should immediately ring your Mobile service provider and report the handset as lost: they will de-activate the IMEI so as to render the handset useless and also cancel your SIM card.

Apart from that, there is nothing else that can be done except hope that there are still some honest people who will hand over your handset to the Bus operator! Sorry for your lost!

Hope it helps.

How can I get a IMEI # for a Samsung Intensity (u450) phone when I lost the phone?

if you have the lost the phone, you can only get the IMEI number from the box cover, as it is generally mentioned there OR on the receipt. It is imperative that when the phone is sold the IMEI number is printed on the receipt. Best thing is to keep a note of IMEI number in a safe place may be on a diary/computer.

MOBILE LOST, WANT TO TRACK LOCATION

Lost your mobile phone?

Not to worry. Your cell phone operator or the police can help you find it if only you can give them the IMEI number.

If you don't have your phone's IMEI number, it is impossible to track the phone since your phone doesn't have the inbuilt tracker software like samsung phones...

The IMEI (international mobile equipment identity) is your handset's fingerprint that helps track down your lost phone.
Here's how you can find the IMEI number of your cell phone: Just punch in *#06#, and the phone will display a 15-digit number. Note this number.
The IMEI number gets logged on to the SIM card and a cellular operator can locate the area from where a call is made

I lost my nokia mobile phone. I have that phone imei number. Please Can you give Assist to block that imei number.

IMEI(International Mobile Equipment Identification). Now if you have lost your mobile handset or your phone has been stolen, you can contact your network provider to block your IMEI number. They might ask you to get a Police FIR copy first, do as they say and finally ask them to block your IMEI number. Mobile network.
providers use a shared hosting service for blocking IMEI numbers, which means if you have asked network ‘Airtel’ to block your mobile handset, it automatically gets blocked by network ‘VodaFone’, ‘Reliance’, ‘Idea Cellular’ and so on.
Now when that thief will switch on your mobile handset, no service providers will allow it to build any connection with them. It does not matter if he changes the mobile SIM card, since SIM card requests for the service with IMEI number and a blocked IMEI number handset will be ignored and the mobile will become an useless toy.

If you know someone from any mobile network, you can also ask him to find out the mobile number that’s being used that IMEI number. In that way you will get the mobile number that thief is using on your handset icon_wink.gif Take help of mobile number tracker to track any mobile in India.
You can find more information about your mobile handset by entering your mobile IMEI no. Go to IMEI Number Analysis and know more about your handset model, manufacturing date and some internal informations for free.

I have lost my samsung E-250 handset on 18.05.2010 in Nasik Road area of Nasik District of Maharashtra State. Please inform me the procedure for intimating your office to trace out the said handset or to...

The first thing you need to do is contact your network service provider and report to them that you have lost the phone. Your network service provider will then block the SIM card so it cannot be used and blacklist the phone's IMEI so that the phone cannot be used with any SIM card.

I lost my mobile , how i will get back it with using imei no ?

You will not get your Mobile handset back unless a honest person returns it to your local police in which case you could claim it back by proving to them that you 'own' this handset with particular imei number.
Your lost/stolen handset can however be made useless to a third party by having this specific and unique imei number reported as being lost/stolen and thus effectively disabling it from all mobile networks.
Hope it helps you understand the situation better.

I lost my n70 mobile how can i trace it.

An IMEI number-The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number is an international identity number used to uniquely identify a mobile phone. The 15-digit IMEI number is an electronic fingerprint transmitted every time a phone is used, which reveals the identity of the mobile handset.
How can I find out my IMEI number? IMEI numbers are independent of the phone number and are usually written underneath the battery or on the back of the handset. Mobile phone users can also check their 15 digit IMEI number by dialling *#06# on their mobile handset. Mobile phone owners should make a note of their IMEI number and keep the details in a safe place.
If u lost your mobile, send an e-mail to cop@vsnl.net with the following info.
Your name:
Address:

Hi
i am sorry about your lost mobile phone.
here is some info to claim your lost phone

First thing you need to do if your phone is lost or has been stolen is to contact your mobile service provider and ask them to block your number. To block your phone from being used from any network at all, you must have its IMEI Number.

An IMEI number -The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number is an international identity number used to uniquely identify a mobile phone.
The 15-digit IMEI number is an electronic fingerprint transmitted everytime a phone is used, which reveals the identity of the mobile handset.
If u lost your mobile, send an e-mail to mailto:cop%40vsnl.net with the followinginfo.
Your name:
Address:
Phone model:
Make:Last used No.:
E-mail for communication:
Missed date:

This will ensure that your mobile phone cannot be used, and that it can be tracked even if the SIM card has been changed.
thank you and notify me after you have done these
bye

Blacklisted or Barred Handsets

What is it all about???
A phone may be blacklisted (or barred) for many different reasons, but the most common reason is that it has been reported either lost or stolen! It is only the networks (Orange, T-Mobile, O2, Vodafone etc) that have the facility to blacklist a handset.

If you are unfortunate enough to either lose or even worse have your phone stolen you should report it to your service provider (your network) immediately!
Your service provider can then blacklist the handset so that it can no longer be used to make or receive any calls. The networks do this by adding your phones serial number onto a national blacklist database (Central Equipment Identity Register). Effectively the handset becomes absolutely useless and the thief is in possession of a pretty paper weight! :-))

So How Does Blacklisting Work?
Every mobile phone has a unique serial number. This serial number is called the IMEI number (International Mobile Equipment Identity). It can normally be found underneath the phones battery and it is 15 digits long.

Now each time you switch your phone on or attempt to make a call the network systems check the IMEI number of the handset you are using. At this point the IMEI number of your handset is cross referenced with the Central Equipment Identity Register. If the IMEI number of your handset is on the CEIR then the network will either:

1) Refuse to send a signal to your phone (No signal strength at all)

2) OR WILL supply a signal but will not allow any outgoing or
incoming calls.

If your IMEI number is on the CEIR your handset is blacklisted and therefore useless.
