Hi there,

Well you can check the user manual for that code, if the code is not on the user manual you can ask that code from the Hyundai dealer, they sure provide it for you. Please post comments for further help or information........

Good Luck!!

Thanks

Hyundai audio system in acting weird?

What happened, you forgot to pay your radio bill? Now for the solution. I suspect you tend to turn on the headlights to see in the darkness. That may be the hint that will help find the problem! Try turning on your headlights at the times you say it works and see what happens. If the radio goes off, you have a short somewhere that shorts out the radio power!

Hello. Have just bought a 2006 tucson, battery was disconnected but have tried to recode the radio using the code on the blue card provided but no go. It times out after 3 times for an hour. Is there any...

Hello Colin. You describe a radio which doesn't sound like any Hyundai Radio I've ever worked on. It seems to me the audio unit is 'after-market' and isn't supported by Hyundai Motor America or Hyundai Service Departments. Does it have a "Hyundai Emblem" on it? If it does, you can check with any Hyundai Service/Parts Department & have them check the serial no.

Radio will not work after battery died.2005 tuson

You can enter a 4-digit security code as an option after purchase of the unit. If you do so, make sure it is noted down somewhere. If you did select a code (or the previous owner has done so) this must be used when the unit is removed from the vehicle, or the constant power source is disconnected from the unit. When constant power is restored to the unit, the security code must be entered before the unit becomes operational. An on-line decoding service may assist you further.
Good luck with it.

if you can find the name of the garage that supplied the car they will have a copy of the radio code and should give you free of charge as long as you can prove ownership of the tucson.adrian,,,,,,,

How do you remove a radio from a 2007 Tuscson city

Don't know the 'City' model... but if it's anything like the REGULAR Tucson, remove the shifter knob (remove access place to two phillips screws - remove screws). Remove shifter knob. Pop out shifter cover plate (snaps in and out). Remove approx 6 phillips head screws holding the metal plate above the shifter pedistal. Pop out the cosmetic cover around the radio, AC control panel and vents (wire harness connectors to digital clock, fog lamps and emergency flashers (and pass airbag light). You now have access to the phillips screws securing the audio/radio unit.
