That will depend a bit on the speed of the dvd drive and the media speed. Basically should take about 30-40 minutes. On a faster drive it should take about 25. A 2 hour movie should almost fill a dvd 4.7gb in size. Those times are for a internal burner not a external usb burner.

A dual layer dvd should take twice as long but from my experience it doesn;t seemt to take more than a few minutes longer than a normal dvd which is strange but nice.

Make sure you have lots of space on C and try not to be running anything other than the burner software to max out on the speed. And don't worry if you toast a few dvd's at first. They are cheap.

The compatibility isn't with the memory, it's with the motherboard and its chipset. In your case the motherboard is a FIC AM-37 which has an VIA KM266A chipset - an extremely old chipset . The only processors accepted are AMD Athlon XP of the first generation of which you already have the fastest version

So no, it's not possible to upgrade it. You will have to buy another motherboard-processor combo.

Your motherboard works only with 100 or 133 MHz memory modules.
You hear the beeps because the motherboard is telling you that the memory is not compatible with the board.
The processor is not the problem.

Hello, according to your boards manual page 38 you will have to use unbuffered memory (non-ecc) and depending on which OS your are gonna use, it might address up to 3 GBs of (SDRAM) my personal preferrence is 3x1 GBs with XP Pro 32 bits. The CPU you mentioned should work just fine, and with the added memory your rig should provide you better performance, hope this little bit of info helps.
