Some thing short circuit inside it. It will be not be easy to detect such faults; even for an experienced service technician. Do to the clicking noise your tv makes is a very common idicator that your power supply in the tv is failing. Its an easy fix lots of DIY videos on youtube but may cost you a arm.

unplug tv for 2 minutes and plug it back in. problem should go away. if not, call toshiba.

1.yes the electric shock can damage the subwoofer  2.some times a sudden switch off or power cut can result in for such issue . 3.for this issue just make sure that you switch on the speaker 1st before starting the PC, then switch on the PC, & while closing time also make sure you 1st switch off or shut down the PC 1st & then the speaker in last   & more ???...! do keep on writing untill then have happy computing sir...till then See you soon...!

you have to change the switch lock cylinder by sending ur car switch to the dealer to have same ur switch code and after u replace it u need to reporgrame it .

I was thrilled reading our kind Forumite's instruction on how to get my broken Samsung txe2746 wiht the above problem repaired. The cylinder specified located at C858 supposed to be numbered 470 turned out to be the wrong one. The one with that specification is C808 with the number 470, and 25V. Did I misread your instructions or it could be that mine is a different model? Should I go ahead and change the C808 just for the sake of trying. Is this recommended?

sounds like you got a faulty switch... even though it's new, take it back and try again. Sounds like the switch is stuck in the closed position. Disconnect the switch and make sure that makes the lights go out.
