Hi
1. What you need to do first is to switch off the phone, open it the with a phone screwdriver and dry the phone properly.

2.Then try to clean it with a cotton wool and very little spirit.

3.Couple back the phone and put it on it should be working perfectly after that.

My g1 phone has locked and wont accept my username and password. I have changed the password on line and checked it works but cannot get my phone to unlock

Okay the thing here is you need to master reset it.
Here's how it works:
  1. Power off the G1
  2. Hold Home Key + End key for 20 seconds or until you see a "triangle with an exclamation point and a picture of the G1"
  3. Open the QWERTY keyboard and hit Alt+W
  4. Restored!
To do a soft reboot, simply hit the Home+Back buttons when you reach the "triangle with an exclamation point and a picture of the G1" screen.

This will reset your phone as if it were brand new and your correct user name and password combination will work.

My G1 phone wont factory reset itself and i dont know what to do, im not sure if i can still return my phone and get a new one because i had it since March 13,2009

Have you tried a reset using the hardware buttons? To perform this, you need to turn off the phone first. While it is off, press and hold the home key and the power key at the same time. Keep holding the buttons until you see a screen with a triangle and an exclamation point in the middle. Once you see the triangle, let go of the buttons and open the keyboard. Press ALT+W at the same time, and the phone should reset.

Nokia N95 keys wont work after being in my pocket in the rain

remove the battery and, soak the phone in 90% isoprophyl alcohol (rubbing) using a spraybottle soak your phone completely let it sit for an hour (don't worry you will not harm it) then: using a hairdryer on low gently dry your phone replace the battery and, start it this should work if it doesn't then you must diassemble the phone and use the alcohol again inside it or, return the phone for repair the alcohol can be purchased at a drug store

Power the device off, while it is off press and hold the Menu button and the Red Power Button at the same time, when the phones boots back up the Safe Mode should be off. If this does not work a Master Reset may be required.
