My Canon Pixma 5000 keeps showing up operator error. It will not print off anything at all. It states to turn printer off and then on again and resume printing. This does not work. Hope you can help. Cheers,

Make sure, it has enough papers in the tray filled properly and tray positioned properly in to its slot. Make sure there isnt any paper jam or any paper stuck within the rollers.
Now turn off printer, disconnect the power cable from the wall and wait for at-least 24 hrs. turn the printer on after 24hrs and see if it starts working.

Keeps coming up with error 5010

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To reset the Printer turn it off and remove the power plug from the outlet. About fifteen minutes later, plug it in again and turn the printer on. If still the issue the printer is facing with persists, then you need to follow these steps as the 5010 error relates to the drivers and you need to download the latest drivers compatible with operating system and model of printer.

Uninstall any previous drivers for the printer and to install the printer, unplug the printer completely, restart your computer. Install the drivers using the file you downloaded from canon, do not attach the printer to the computer, or power on until you are told to do so. You can download the drivers from the following link of Canon---

Printer Drivers for Canon Pixma MP460

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks
