Panasonic NV-GS11GC video camera

hi there
I am having trouble downloading my video camcorder tapes to my laptop which runs vista. The software Disc that came with the camcorder is for Windows XP, Me and 98SE and will not install at all. I think I need a USB and webcam driver that runs on vista as well as software that I can edit the tapes (Arcsoft PhotoImpression, Panorama maker or PhotoMontage) - DV Studio 3.1 E- SE. Any help would be fantastic...
