This is a a common problems that occur in Apple phone.According to my experience this is caused because of two reasons .One is because of software and another reason is because of hardware..

If the Software firmware is Corrupted:
Cause:The cause of this problem is because bad handling of i phone when connected to the computer. When transferring data from i tunes you should properly detached the USB plug...

Solution:The solution for this problem is resetting the phone
Press Home button
big circle below the screen and sleep/wake up button at top of the phone at same time.continue holding it same time, until your phone restarts.

If it is Hardware issue:

R-467 flux is damaged on the interior motherboard controls the signal outflow. That is damaged you have to replace it.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

How can I download photos to computer via USB?

The easiest way would be to tether your handset to your computers USB port.

You can also pair a cellphone wirelessly via Bluetooth or wifi and transfer them that way

IPhone 5 went though the wash, so gutted. After a quick google i put it in a sealed bag of rice. Just taken it out n plugged it in and apple logo starts flashing. Does this mean there is hope n it is not...

If the Apple logo keeps flashing and never does anything, it is most likely stuck in a boot loop. You can try reinstalling the OS by connecting it to your computer, but if that doesn't work, the boot loop is most likely caused by a hardware failure.

My iphone 3g fashes on and off every sec

The flash, like for the camera? It is because in your settings you have it set to go off.
I have an iPhone 4, so it should be similar.
Go to settings, go to general, then click accessibility. Once there, scroll down under hearing. Then check for LED Flash for Alerts. Turn that off. That should fix it. If not, you can take it to your carrier to see if they can trouble shoot it.

I reset all settings and formatted it completely, but then when I plug it to the p.c, the apple logo keeps flashing. My iphone does'nt connect to the computer (Windows) Please Help!

We briefly mentioned using junk data to overwrite the iPhone's flash as a last-ditch method of securely clearing off your user data yesterday, and although we were half-joking, that's more or less your only option until Apple provides a proper secure erase feature. Security researcher Rich Mogull has helpfully laid out the steps for you, and they're basically what you'd expect: restore your iPhone, don't sync any personal data to it, and then manually transfer three different playlists large enough to fill the flash. Essentially you're doing a manual three-pass overwrite, which is pretty much exactly the long and tedious process it sounds like -- but we wouldn't dream of selling or giving away our iPhones (or any other phone with personal data on it) without struggling through it.

Accepte my greetings

My iphone keeps flashing in + out of different applications

More than likely this is cause by your digitizer or home button malfunctioning.
try a restore if that doesnt work i would say it is the hardware.
