If this is the water dispenser filter
It is on the left side behind the bottom grille.
you turn it and, pull out.
be sure the water is off to the refrigerator before you replace it.

Whirlpool refrigerator leaves a salt sediment in bottom of a glass when water sits awhile. It happened after I replaced factory water filter with new one. Whats solution?

The sediment may be coming from your water supply and the new filter is unable to remove it. Draw a sample directly from the sink faucet and let it sit for awhile.

How to replace ge rpwfe filter

I think on that model there is a long plastic cover on the top right hand corner with a tab in the front. Push tab and cover should hinge down to uncover the filter. Unscrew filter to left and pull forward. Reverse to install new filter.

Hi, I have a KitchenAid KSSS48QDX05 refrigerator. I am no longer getting water at the door or to ice maker. I am thinking the cause is a clogged water filter (ten years old, has never been changed). ...

There is no filter on your refrigerator. I suspect the valve is bad. It is located behind the lower kick plate and is easily replaced.

No water is coming out of the water depenseron the refrigerater

does your ice maker work OK ? if yes , do you have a inline water filter in the upper right hand section of your refrigerator at the rear ? if yes , replace the filter and follow the directions on the new filter to properly prime the water dispenser line. if the unit will not prime with the new filter installed, you'll probably have to replace the water dispenser control valve located at the bottom rear of the refrigerator where the main supply water line goes into the refrigerator.

My ice maker is not working. I think I need to

Turn off the water supply going to back of refrigerator. Relieve pressure by trying to get water from dispenser. The filter is located on front and bottom inside the kick plate. The replacement filter is part number 4396508 and you can see illastrartion by putting model ED2FHEXNL01 in search feature in link below and scrolling the photo down. You will see the filter as number 29. But the part number is 4396508 Click on link below, we also offer free help. Thanks, Sea Breeze

I had two (2) broken wires in the harness. I don't think you actually have to take the door off. It may be a little cramped working, but I think it can be done. Once you take off the bottom grill, find the end of the harness next to the water filter and unplug the white plug. Just below that is a ground wire. Remove the screw and take the green wire off. Then, next to that is a white "c-clip" holding the harness against the bottom of the refrigerator. Remove that clamp and you should have enough "play" to work on the harness. (It is probably a pain in the #*@ to remove the entire harness because it runs into a hole in the bottom of the door and then up through the door itself) You'll have to cut away the black mesh sleeve over the harness. I cut it with a pair of wire cutters as close to where the harness goes into the door as possible. There may also be a bit of black electrical tape at the end of the mesh closest to the white plug. Remove that, and you should be able to slide the mesh sleeve off, over the plug. This should reveal the broken wires. I just took some 12 gauge braided wire and cut a couple of pieces
