SOURCE: I have an Emerson HD digital TV model LC195EMX,
The indication of the standby light shows that the sub power circuit is functioning alright. Now on depressing the switch on power if there is no reaction then the main processor is getting an errror message for no switching. If you are getting any click and shut off then there is a power short/ fault in the HT circuit which requires further probe. You can check the main fuses and for dry soldering joints/ loose connectors in the main PCB, if all this is fine, I suggest you get help but ask your technician to give you an insight if the fault is in the control, main power (SMPS) or the HT. I hope this adivce helps. Good day.
