Re: dont know how to put songs on my ipod
Apple intended iTunes to be used to sync your ipod. There is a windows version available on www.apple.com/itunes
Also, if you are syncing songs, make sure they are in a compatible format. (ie not .wma files)

You need to sync it with your computer and do a complete reset. It will restore the manufacturer's settings and delete all of the information (songs, apps, etc.) from your iPod. Do not use the backup either your computer or iCloud offers you because it will just restore your password settings and you won't be able to unlock your iPod. You will need to go back in and put your songs and apps back on your device from either the iCloud or your computer.
This was happening to my ipod but then i saw that all the songs werent checked off to sync so you have to make sure that thats the problem. If thats not it then try dragging the new songs to the ipod sign under my ipod.
i have an ipod touch and when i drag songs over like your talking about and its in the middle of syncing the song wont get put on the device til the next sync so let it sync up upplug it and then plug it back in and see if the songs start syncing to your device
More than likely, the song is either a protected version on the song that was copied from another ipod. Or the song is in the wrong format for the iPod and will not transfer. In either case, the song cannot be used in it's current state. download another copy from somewhere and use the new one instead
take off automatic sync and just sync the music you want to using manual sync. Automatic sync has parameters. such as it will only sync the newest or most recently added or your playlists that you select. manual sync you just drag from your library and just drop it into your ipod on the left side of itunes. you can try to do this with automatic sync but next time you plug it in it might dissappear.
hi if u have all 1800 songs in your computer folder,,,i advise you to connect the ipod to itunes and reset the ipod for factory settings ,then goto file add folders to library browse folders where all your songs located in your computer click ok
now it sud put all songs in music and then sync it to your ipod completely....if u dont see any !mark in itunes music folder then you are good ...your ipod sud have all 1800 songs.
In your windowsmedia you will see the device name listed..you have to make sure the device is under MTP mode..then click on the player and you will see all the songs...you can just right click on the songs and delete them..if you dont want the device to sync automatically you can click on sync and then click on the device name and click on sync setting..there you can modify if you want it to sync automatically.. Should you have any questions..let me know.. P.S.Please rate accordingly... Thank You Computerrep
