If so, any idea as to cost of new one.

    Thank you,

It might be a sign that the power supply is going bad on your TV.
Normally a number of capacitors get dry and bulging causing those failures up to the point of not being able to power up.

    Thank for the rating.

I was just giving you the solution(s) and you did not even think it was helpful.

I have no more to say.

    Good Luck.

LOL not really, the thing is that when the experts in here give a solution(s) we really try to help the customers with their problems.

Anyhow, i do not think there might be service parts available for your TV. The only way will be to get it fix to the component level.

When I said the power supply, I did not mean the mother board but the one that provides power to your TV.

It sounds like it has main board problem, leave it unplug for about an hour to let it reset itself to see if it will work again. It can also be unstable power supply problem.

Lost remote want to get to input channels using side buttons on TV

Try using the manual buttons and keep pressing channel down until you see the lowest station you receive, then go slowly.
Maybe Insignia put the inputs into the channel search automatically.

Display window stays on screen, buttons won't work

Sounds like one of the buttons on the monitor is stuck in. See if you can unstick them by pressing them infirmly, but not too hard, several times. Try each one in succession. Hope this helps!

Remote Control

From GUEST: I found this solution in the manual and will perform this task again to see if I can get the tv will be re-recognized again. Give this a try, too.

Remote will not turn on or shut off the TV.
• You must program the converter box remote in order to control your TV power button.
• To program the remote control:
    1. Determine if the TV is a model that can be controlled by the remote control. See "Controllable TV brands" on page 17 in the manual.
    2. Turn on the TV.
    3. While you press and hold TV POWER on the remote control, press CH ^ or CH v one or more times until the TV turns off. Each time you press one of these buttons, the remote control sends a manufacturer code (between 1 and 45) to the TV.
