It's unclear about which version of windows you are trying to install.
However please checkout http://www.legitreviews.com/article/454/1/. The page has step by step instructions for installing Windows Vista on a Raid Machine.
If you are looking for a different solution please let me know with a clear description of your requirements.
Hope this helps. Best Regards NextDoorNerd

How to set up a Raid 5 on a MSI A88XM-E35?

Your motherboard does support RAID:
"SATA1~6 ports support RAID 0/1/5/10 modes by AMD A88X"
Source: http://www.msi.com/product/mb/A88XME35.html#hero-specification

However, software RAID isn't supported in Windows 7 home premium. So are you asking how to setup the RAID array using the hardware support provided by your motherboard or are you looking for software RAID support?

Will a Dell OWG855 motherboard support IDE drives. Has a one hard-drive RAID setup from Dell now. I want to go Non-Raid.

?? One drive does not make a raid setup; that takes a minimum of 2 drives the same size, with the second being a mirror drive. If you just have the 1 drive, then simply turn off the option in the Bios setup.

Raid

The RAID driver was supposed to be created by the Gigabyte CD on to a floppy disk. Durring windows you were to incert the floppy disk & press F6. Windows would have included the driver software. You can also go to Gigabytes web site & download the RAID driver. (This site is for rev 2.0).
