Either R-22 or R-134A. Look for a data plate. It will have the refrigerant in use and the factory charge of said refrigerant.

Refrigertor not coling how do i know what broke

You may have a freon leak. Low freon causes it not to cool. Call a repair man who has testers for this kind of problem.

My 2000 buick lesbre doesn't blow cold air like it

Hi bennysosiris...
If your compressor is starting and stopping regularly and it is not blowing cool as it one did then I would say:
Yes you need to add some freon to your system...depending what kind of freon it takes if would be better to take it in to have a professional install your freon to the proper pressure and volume.

What can i do to stop my A/c compressor from clicking on and off but still have cool air on my 1999 mitsubishi montero sport

Its calling for more freon when it kicks on and off. Add Freon.
You can buy freon at most any parts store.
Make sure of what kind it is. R-134 or r-22 Look under hood for the designation

It will hot cool on electric or propane. Could freon be low or could it be something else? How is the best way to check this problem? How much freon does this fridge hold and where and what kind should I...

this sounds like an r.v. fridge these are absorbtion cooling units and do not use freon. check the freezer and fridge compartments for an amonia smell if none check the burner heat exchanger for yellow staining if none there may be an air lock or blockage in the cooling unit somtimes cured by burping the fridge rotate the fridge in one direction untill up side down bang the coils on the back with a rubber hamer until gurgiling stops let sit for a night rotate to top in same direction bang coils again and let sit level start fridge and check for cooling if none it is time for a new fridge.

I want to know wat kind of ac freon my expadition

It uses the 134 A which is a replacement for freon, but is not freon. It is supposed to be more environmentally friendly, but is not as efficient when it comes to cooling as the old Freon 12. It is illegal in the US for you to have freon in your possession, only authorized shops are allowed to have it and install it.

Added freon to ac and car will not cool

Needs to be checked for a freon leak, best way to do this is to recharge and add dye, with a uv light you will be able to fine the leak, most auto parts sell the dye, and the flash light you will need to fine the leak, good luck.

Put freon in compressor and for three days it cools after that the air is hot

It sounds like you have a small, slow leak. I would get a leak detection kit that includes dye to put in the system, and a light and glasses to find the leak. Kind of sounds like an O ring leaking.

Dcr34w model dose not cool at all what kind of freeion do i put in it

Refrigerators do not 'use up' freon. If your refrigertor needs freon (which is VERY unlikely), it's leaking.

You don't give much to go on, so it's next to impossible to determine your problem. But my advice is to NOT waste your money on freon. There's a 99% chance it's NOT your problem and if you're not a licensed HVAC technician, you probably shouldn't be fooling with the refrigerant anyway.

My 1999 GMC Jimmy's AC is not cooling as well as it should. It did this a few months ago and I put some freon in it, seemed to help the problem, I tried it again a few weeks ago and this time it didn't...

This Could be And is Normaly Caused by the ORFICE TUBE Getting Clogged up it Must Be Replaced and FREON Replaced R-134A is the FREON Used in this System, The Age of your Vehicle is My Clue that this MAY BE Your Problem
