Question about Canon PIXMA MP490 Inkjet Photo All-In-One Printer
Canon mp490 error 5200 solution...... turn off printer,then hold reset button(the red 1 circle with triangle in middle) for 5 sec then whilst holding reset button turn power on let go of reset button then push reset button twice whilst still having hold of power button then release power button then push reset button 4 times and then power button twice hope it works it did for me carlos:)

CANON PIXMA MP490 sold in Japan
I was able to disable the low ink error after using a refill cartage by holding down the monokuro button and the stop button for about 3-5 seconds.
After that print a test page and see if everything is working well.
You will be print documents but it will tell you that the cartage was recently changed and may not be working properly. Hit the ok button and continue.
I haven't had any problems other than this. I hope it helps.

GREAT FixYA Saves me from too much worrying. I have 8 printers inside the office: Canon 4, Epson1 HP 2 and 4 computers and 5 scanners.
