Question about Magellan GPS 320 GPS Receiver
When i activate or turn on my Magellan 320 it reads "NO POS" assuming no satelite link. How do i fix this? Also i have a 315 with a severly cracked crystal,I can only read fragments of info. Can this be easily repaired as well? Or do i have to send in or take it to a repair shop? Can i order a new crystal online somewher? Thanks
I will suggest you reset the unit, Using the stylus, tap "Main Menu" and select "View."
Tap "Settings," and select "Restore Factory Settings." You will be given the option to confirm this action. Be sure that you want to reset to the settings that the GPS was built with. This action is irreversible.
Tap "Confirm," and the unit will begin to reset.
Locate the button marked "Reset" on the left, right or bottom of the unit. Using a thin object, such as a paper clip, depress the button for two to three seconds. The unit should reset.
If the unit does not reset, immediately press the button again and hold it for up to 10 seconds.
The best thing is to send it to a repair shop, it is not something you can fix, repair shop will help diagnose and fix the problem, you can order for the crystal online at ebay, the site sell almost all kind of equipments and parts. check the site for the parts you need, www.ebay.com

This problem is related to internal software not supporting so its showing "no pos" .There are many other facing this same problem. It has to be send to the Magellan service center to get it reset and repaired.
And for the cracked crystal also the unit has to be send to service center to get repaired/replaced.The shops are not carrying Magellan spare parts, because Magellan is not providing much guaranty /warranty for their parts/products and many users are facing problems in magellan units.
