I have the same problem as Donniehearac. I tried devilmaycare's advice about Fn+F2 to enable the wireless switch, however nothing happened. The notebook just can't detect any wireless networks in the area, and it keeps saying make sure the wireless switch on your computer is on. How can I turn it on?

The switch should be a slider switch located on the front right side panel of your notebook. It will toggle the wireless switch on or off.

Fujitsu Amilo Pro Notebook 2010 For some reason although finding my wireless network will not connect and is not asking for network key. Any ideas?

Hi Charles,

Try turning off your wireless router and modem for 2 minutes and then turn them back on. Wait another 2 minutes for them to settle down and try connecting to the internet again.

If this does not work you may have to reinstall the drivers for the wireless card in your laptop.

Regards.

Cannot find the wireless switch Wireles was working now cannot see the network. Is thee a physical switch?

There should be. Without knowing what brand of laptop it is its hard to know where it is. I would look all around the sides and around the keyboard. Try to adjust every switch one at a time until the internet comes back up. Most switches are safe to adjust so this shouldn't be a problem. It may however have gotten shut off in Device Manager. Right click on my computer> click hardware > click device manager. Look for your Network Interface Card or wireless device. See if it is enabled. If not, then enable it.

How do I turn on wireless connection on my laptop?

I think you just need to setup a new network/wireless connection. That or just enable the wireless connection you have or search for an available one and yours should come on the list.

Yes it is. Ensure the Wireless Lan switch is on (button at top right above keyboard) which will light an indicator on the light panel).

Wireless switch

you can go to control panel, network connections, right click on your wireless network adapter icon, and select enable.
I have heard if you take the battery out and put it back in, it seems to reset that. There is also an interal switch as a last resort....so try those first
