Hi,
VGA option will be enable when tv sense video signal in that input.
Plug VGA cable in tv and hook it to video source like iPod etc then go to Menu and select VGA input.
Hope this info will help you.
Thanks.

External Acer AL1917 stopped to work with Lenovo 3000 n100 as an external monitor.

No signal means you have a different input enabled somewhere...like TV/HDMI/VGA ...you are set on some input other than the one you need for your cable. Check the menu settings, if you have a remote, try the input button and try a different setting

My TV lost its wide Screen display two days ago. It Screen Menu is not available (only for VGA, whatever that means). How do I restore wide screen display?

VGA is an interface used between a computer and monitor. You need to go through your main menu and look for 'Input' and change it back to whatever input you normally use, such as 'Cable' or 'Antenna.' Depending on how your remote is designed, you may have a button marked 'Display' which gives you access to input selection.Right now, your set is looking for input from a computer and is expecting to see signal from a 15-position connector which you probably have never used.

Can i use my lg lcd 19 inches as a pc monitor which have a rgb port

Your TV must have a VGA port. Look on the back for the computer hookup. It will be like a trapezoid shape with several holes that the VGA cable from your computer will plug into.
If so, go to the menu and highlight VGA input to operate.

Why my Pc monitor showing Input not supported?

There are several inputs that a monitor can handle depending if it's capable of doing so. For example, just like TV, if you want to watch a DVD, you have to change the input to Video and going back to TV, just choose TV input. The same way for computer monitors. If the monitor supports VGA, DVI, HDMI and others, you have to select the right input depending of the type of Video cable connected from your tower to the monitor. If you it is connected via VGA, choose VGA input. If the cable is HDMI, select HDMI. That will let your monitor switch from one input to the other..

Hope that works for you. -
I'll appreciate the feedback and the thumbs up.
Thanks.
