Question about Computers & Internet
I have an advent modena laptop and im replacing the LCD screen as its cracked.. i have unscrewed the bezel but it wont fully come off as sides are attached to board beneath. anyone know a solution?
The side rails are the hinges, in some cases you most remove or loosen the screws that attach the hinges at the bottom where the hinges attach to the lid. Once this is accomplished, the hinge supports will allow access to the sides of the screen in order to remove the lcd panel. Once the panel is released from its side attachments, the data cable can be pulled free from the back of the panel.
