If you have no choice but to use the tv ..try to connect with RCA cables.....the ones that have video and audio separated..and put the tv on the AV from the remote ...this way it will work like a monitor with whatever you connect on it ..just like you connect a dvd with a RCA cable ......so if you have done that already ..and you tried to find the channnel ..quit it ..and just press AV/Tv from the remote and put the tv into the audio video mode..and will work ..

Is my tv hdtv ready

Looking online, this appears to be a monitor rather than a TV. You will need to connect it to an HDTV tuner as well as the anntenna to get over the air reception.

This is all I can find, might do the trick;
When changing the multiplexer to NTSC or PAL all other settings
are returned to the factory defaults.
The multiplexer can be used with either NTSC or PAL systems.
To set it up for NTSC operation:
1) Turn off the power
2) Press and hold the and {M} buttons.
3) Turn on the power
To set up the multiplexer for PAL operation:
1) Turn off the power
2) Press and hold the and buttons.
3) Turn on the power

I have three Dell 1901FP monitors, all with the same problem that's been mentioned here already...

Hi Stuschwartz1,
Since you are a TV repair tech, you would know the problem of the monitors. You didn't mention anything about you computer or what you are connecting them to.
I am assuming you are having problem connecting to the desktop tower. If so try with a friend's laptop. The laptop should have a VGA port to connect to external monitor. Find out how your monitors react on the laptop. As a tech you should be able to narrow down the problem.
I have this problem with my computer. It was not the monitor problem. It was the VGA card problem on my desktop. I changed the VGA card (15$) and everything works normal again.
Don't leave out the VGA cable also.
I have my monitor (CRT) for 7+ years and still in good condition.
Good luck with yours.

Trouble viewing recorded time-lapse recorder tape.

Sounds like the heads on your TLC 2100 Time-lapse recorder are in their last legs. This is normal for those units. The reason you are having those scramble lines towards the top of the screen is because you are not playing at normal play speed.
The problem with the switching between cameras is that the "dwell time" settings is set to high. Most dvr's you can just disable that.
If you are looking to upgrade look here.

Hasbro R2D2 Interactive robot circuit.

Sorry Ron, dont have the information you require. What is the problem with the R2 unit. Can I assist you in fault finding? Multilayer boards make servicing difficult indeed, it may even be an interlayer connection causing the problem. If masked processors were used, parts may be difficult to get. Have you checked things like DC/regulator conditions, reset devices to micro's, clocks working and so on. More involved repairs are hard to acheive on any modern firmware controlled equipment.

What is a multiplexer?

In networking a multiplexer separates the voice-frequency signals from the high-speed data traffic on your telephone line and controls and routes digital subscriber line traffic between the end-user equipment and the network service provider's network. It has got multiple inputs and a selector that connects a specific input to the single output.
