Question about Kicker Comp 12" Car Speaker
My guess? A such an old amp had equally old capacitors. These old capacitors weren't unable to resist to the higher current generated by running the subs in bridged mode so they failed. When they began to fail the final mosfets failed first - what you are hear now is probable the output of the prefinal transistors - barely audible.
Time for a new amp - check the subs first, they might have been damaged themselves.
