Our drain pump was squealing so when the washer stopped mid-cycle

Our drain pump was squealing so when the washer stopped mid-cycle and didn't drain we assumed that was the problem. We unplugged it and ordered/installed new pump (420325P). Now when we plugged it back in, there is no power. Fuse??.

You will need to make sure that the plug is in the pump properly as if it is not the machine will not turn on, also the pump has a thermal over temp inside it so you need to make sure that it has not popped (it is self resetting unless it is faulty), so check the pump for continuity it should be about 32ohms. Also check the pump housing to make sure there is nothing in there restricting water flow

The washer stops mid cycle and says Ob. I

The OB indicates and out of balance condition has been detected by the motor control.
One thing about the OB error is that the lid must be opened to clear the error and allow the washer to advance to the next part of the cycle. If the lid is not opened to adjust the clothes then the OB error will happen again.

If the OB error was cleared and the OB occurs with an empty load then the motor control has failed.

The drain pump must work. The image below shows how to run a diagnostic test to check the drain pump. Follow the instructions in the image below and check the drain pump operation. If the pump runs and the water does not drain then the sump is clogged. If the pump hums but does not run then the pump needs to be replaced.

Squealing sound on spin cycle.........

Turn power off AT THE WALL,under the wash bowl Spray some wd40 on to the pump at both ends, while this may stop it for a while. Your pump may well be on its way out. you should replace for a new one. bad pumps can cause more problems problems .

The washer squeals as the water is filling the tub and continues through most of the cycles. As the machine agitates quickly, the squealing stops. However, it squeals at the end of the cycle.

Sounds like the pump.  When it first fills the pump recirculates the water, then it comes on at the end of each cycle to drain the water.  The pump is on the bottom of the machine, on the right side.

Stop in mid cycle

HD= No drain.

HI, check the following to address this issue.

1. Clogged drain line or water pump
Check to see if there's something stuck inside the pump or the drain hose connected to the pump (pump is usually located at the bottom and towards the back of the washing machine).

2. Water Pump
If the drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's the case replace the water pump. Note: if you have a belt driven washer, check the belt(s) for cracks, as this would be a perfect time to replace the belt(s) if needed.

**The most common issue will be an obstructed hose or, line

Stops mid-cycle, does not drain, displays nd error code?

Hello.
That code is telling you that the unit is draining to slow. After 15 minutes it is not below the low water level and will not spin out. The best repair for this is to replaced the pump on your unit.

Washer stopping mid-cycle with no error

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you have drained, unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something shd be blocking your pump, check this out. F-21 filter blocked.
