based on what I have seen with problems like this the easiest thing to do here is reload the operating system from the recovery disks

First when you power up the computer press F1 or F2 or del or ALT+F2 key for enter in bios. Then go to boot menu and set first boot device as your harddrive. Then save settings and exit. Then if you get every time safe mode and other option then enter in safe mode then if you are able to enter in safe mode then go to start menu->run or press windows key + R key so you can see run type in chkdsk /r" without "' then press ok then restart computer then it will fix and recover errors on harddrive but if you are not able to enter in safe mode too then boot computer with windows disk then follow the procedure and choose "repair windows " option then it will work again. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

My screen keeps flashing" diagnosing your PC" why

There is a problem with your windows 8 PC's installation, which has stopped it from booting correctly; hence why it starts in 'startup repair', and tries to diagnose your PC. Hold the F8 key while booting your computer to go into the startup menu for Windows; click Advanced startup options; and select Restore my PC; which will reinstall windows.
This may or may not work for your machine, you may have to hold F2, F10, or the Escape key to go into the UEFI setup and go into startup options from there.

My camera is not working.it says in use by another application. I dont know which application is using it actually none of those apps are turned on.How can i fix it?

It is possible your Startup files contains Skype, VID, PhotoBooth, or some other program that hijacks your webcam. Even if you don't have those programs running they may keep you from using a different application. You will have to manually go through any type of program that could use your webcam and turn off the camera, and/or remove those programs from your Startup menu.

I cant seem to log on

try starting in safe mode. hold down f8 when you turn on your computer until you get a menu with the option to boot in safe mode. once you successfully log on in safe mode, restart your computer and the problem should be cleared. if not, we can explore further options.

You can "try" to stop the process from starting by unchecking the appropriate box under boot menu.

go to RUN, type MSCONFIG, check the startup tab.

Hope this helps.

Mac book will not turn on.

Hello,
A flashing folder at startup means that the Mac doesn't recognize your system. This can be either a hardware or software problem. The hardware problem would be the hard drive, and the software the OS.
So these are the steps you should proceed: 1) Check your hard disk by using your install DVD (press the c key at startup), choose your language, go to the utilities menu and hit Disk utility. go to SOS tab and select your hard drive on the left. Click "repair volume" and check what happens.
2) reboot, if it does not recognize the system again, reinstall it using the "archive-install" option

You can choose go to advanced startup menu by using F8 during startup and choose "Last Know Good Configuration"

about DVD playback; right click on your DVD drive (Usually D drive) on properties go to Recording tab and check the box highlighted below.
