I HAVE A PANASONIC DVD,VHS RECORDER MODEL #DMR-EZ48V.WHEN TRANSFER A VHS CASSETTE TO A DVD THE THUMNAILS ON THE DVD HAVE THE DATE OF 1/1/2000. HOW CAN I PUT THE ACTUAL DATE OF THE RECORDINGS ON EACH OF THE...

Try setting the clock on the remote press [FUNCTIONS] go to SETUP menu - locate the CLOCK option (it should be under 'OTHERS' in the setup) and set the current time, press [ENTER/OK] to store if necessary, then press [RETURN] to exit the setup. Once clock is set correctly, future DVD thumbnails will show the actual date/time of recording in this (and similar) model combo units. If auto clock setting is not possible, set it manually as above.

I assume in spite of the wrong date/time, your DVD recordings have been successful. Incorrect clock and date setting usually only affects timer recording for VHS.

If you have lost or misplaced your original owner's manual, you can download a free pdf version (for Region 1 model) from:

http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Video/DVD-Recorders-Players/DVD-Recorders/model.DMR-EZ48VK

or, if you live outside USA, download the 'Australia/NZ' pdf version of the manual (for Region 4 model) from:

http://www.panasonic.com.au/Products/DVD+and+Blu-ray/DVD+-+Players+and+Recorders/DMR-EZ48V/Downloads

either one of these will provide you a full copy of the original user guide/setup including clock.

All free. Hope these suggestions help.

Panasonic NV SJ205 changing RF settings

Hi,
Your VCR has input to record video-audio signal. Here is 2 options to record program in vcr.
1= You need to hook up video-audio cable at Monitor Out in TV and video-audio in at VCR. select Line-1 or Line-2 (where you hook up cable) in vcr and insert cassette with Record Tab intact, VCR is ready to record TV program. select desired channel on tv and hit record button of vcr, recording will start.
2= Plug RF antenna / cable wire in RF In of vcr and tune desired channel in vcr (get help of vcr's user manual for that) and push record button to start record directly in vcr.
Have further query, let me know please.
bye.

Nv fj630 can't power up

Had the same problem with my one. After a lot of time spent testing etc and finding no low volts of any value present and looking on the web, I found that Panasonic tend to use a similar design of power supply for a lot of models and there appears to be, after a number of years in use, a weak link in the design/use with the voltage regulator. For this model, the regulator generic part number is STRG 6352 and the Panasonic part no is C5HACZZ00002. In the UK it is available from:-
http:/www.chsinteractive.co.uk/electrical-components/misc/nvfj620b-c5haczz00002-ic-pana.htm
If you need a service manual for this model, which is helpful for checking things/disasembly/assembly, you can obtain a free one from:-
http://www.reptips.dk/Reptips/NV-FJ620.pdf
As a note the panasonic replacement from chs came with the pins bent correctly, so it fitted directly after I had cut the old one out.

Best of luck!
