Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. Continuous
blinking green LED on Mitsubishi's Projection which normally blinks after a
power surge means that the microprocessors inside the unit are unable to
communicate with each other. Usually Mitsubishi's Projection TV use 1000uF/16
in the DM MODULE (which is one of the two microprocessors), as these capacitors
are too small for the load they get they usually fail usually after about 3-5
years.
They might also fail due to voltage fluctuations.
To resolve this issue these capacitors should be replaced with 1000uF/25 volt
or 1000uF/35 volt capacitors, so that they can handle any voltage spikes that
will occur. To do the repair you’ll need to take the back off the TV apart in
order to remove the faulty DM module and need to desolder the old capacitors on
DM board and install new ones. All this is only recommended to be done by
someone who has electrical expertise. Please
do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further
assistance.
Thanks
