Question about Compaq Computers & Internet
I bought a Compaq Pressario computer, model CQ30701L. The monitor is 20 inch Compaq LCD model Q2009. The operating system is Windows XP. The displays were normal.
My computer had to be formatted 2 weeks back. Formatting was done with the original Windows XP CD supplied with the computer.
After Formatting images are sideways stretched. The screen resolution now is 1280 by 1024. Other available options are 800 by 600, 1024 by 768, 1600 by 1200 and 1920 by 1440.
I have tried 1024 by 768 and 800 by 600 resolutions. In these resolutions also images are equally sideways stretched.
I cannot set the resolution to 1600 by 1200 or 1920 by 1440. If I push the slider to those positions, I get warning ''Input signal out of range. Set resolution to 1600 by 900'' My computer does not have an option of 1600 by 900 resolution.
How do I get my images right?
This problem is because, when you formatted your PC, you have installed improper display driver of your PC model. This is also because of less capacity display/graphics card.
