Been there, done that. These people are rogues. No Hitachi products for me. Got a nice replacement, cheaper and better SONY XBR4 Bravia 52" LCD TV delivered and installed by for about $2800.

1-800-256-0687 is Magic Jack customer service. Make sure they have your email . We get an email when our time is about to expire. If you're happy with your service consider a 3 or 5 yr plan. It's more cost effective. We've been customers for almost 5 yrs and have never had a bit of problem. Good luck.

-The belt is too tight. It should be free when the engine is running.
-Adjust it. It'll take care the problem. (I'll say it'll need about 3/4" to 1 1/2 clearance)

I got a wobble on the back wheel jacked the bike up wobbled the back wheele so expecting wheel bearings. took it to garage and they vtold me one spoke had broke and the rest were loose. i was then told all...

This is very unusual for the spokes to get loose on a wheel. Without seeing the wheel, I'm betting that the wheel has been relaced at some time or another with chrome or custom spokes. If they used the wrong spokes, they will not stay tight. Since the spokes came loose this time, they'll do it again. I've seen wheels laced like this before and the "knobs" on the hub end of the spoke does not lay in the holes like they should. You cannot keep the spokes tight nor the wheel trued. It's best to have it either relaced the proper way or simply replace the entire wheel.

Thanks. I figured it out from the online manual. Hold buttons #2 and #3 (second and third button down on far left side) for 2 seconds should reset it. It took some 15 minutes however before the dishwasher reset!

You have a defective light engine. Here's what you can do..we just went through this about 2 months ago. Call Hitachis custimer RELATIONS department at 800-654-7013 and tell them you have a defective light engine. When you initially call, they will act like they've never heard of this problem but they have. They will give you the name of some certified Hitachi Dealers in your area. Once you call a tech to come out and confirm that it's a bad light engine, call Hitachis customer relations department back and they will call the dealer directly to confirm the problem. Once the problem has been confirmed by the dealer, Hitachi will send the part directly to the dealer to come out and install.

Now here's the deal. Hitachi will repalce the part (cost around $1500) but they will ask you to cover the install. Our install was $400 but others on this board have paid less (range $200-$500). If your set is still under warranty, Hitachi will pay for the install and the part but regardless if your set is under warranty or not, they ARE paying for a brand new light engine.

A couple of quick things to look out for, please do not let any dealer or store tell you that you have to pay for this part. Hitachi is covering the cost. They have not recalled this part but they are replacing it after you have a tech out to confirm the problem. Also, only deal with the CUSTOMER RELATIONS department and not Hitachis customer service department. The regular customer relations department is no help at all. Good Luck:)

You have a defective light engine and here's what you need to do...we just went through this. You need to call Hitachi's customer relations department at 800-654-7013. DO NOT call regular customer service. When you first call them, tell them what your set is doing and that you have a bad light engine. They will initially act like they have no idea what you're talking about but they will give you some names and numbers to some local Hitachi dealers. Call one of the dealers to come out and once the problem has been confirmed, call Hitachis customer relations department back. All of a sudden they will have heard of the problem and they will call the dealer to confirm it.

Once they confirm it with the dealer, they will send the part directly to the dealer and the dealer will call you to set up a date/time to come out and install it. Hitachi got our new light engine to the dealer in 2 days.

Now, Hitachi will cover the cost of the light engine (around $1500) regardless if you're still under warranty or not. You will have to pay for the install. Our install was $400. DO NOT let any dealer tell you that you have to pay for the part once they get it from Hitachi...most reputable dealers will not try to do that. Hitachi will cover the cost of the part, all you pay is for the install.

Please deal only with Hitachi customer relations. Their regular customer service department will have you chasing your tail. Once our light engine was replaced, the TV is like brand new. Good Luck!

I don't think it's a prob/with the lamp try something simpler,poss cable connections (dontknow if you've already tried new componet cables/but that's where I would look first. If thats no good poss the color calibration would be a factor.
