Hi trying to set the timing on my j1 elantra its a 16 valve and each cam has two marks on it.so my question is what positions should the cam lobes be at when timing is supposed to be correct.thanks

no 1 piston tdc
the cam lobes for no 1 piston should in such a position so that a slight turn of the cam shaft one way makes the exhaust start to close and the inlet start to open or the other way the inlet start to close and the exhaust start to open
this is known as valve rock or valve overlap and occurs when the cam shaft is properly timed to the tdc position of the piston
for a twin cam engine the cam lobes position will be the same operation just that the inlet cam rock will be for the inlet cam and the exhaust cam rock will be for the exhaust cam

Whem i start installation the proces show me message plese insert cam first but my cam is alredy inserted.Plese what i should do.Please help

Unplug the cam then start the install process over again. Do not plug the cam in until instructed to do so. You may have to go in and delete the cam software that is already installed. You can do this by going to control panel then select remove programs find the cam software and delete it first before starting all over again. I hope that this assisted you. Thanks for using FixYa! Hey! well ive got a advent notebook with a built in webcam and it says i dont have a webcam ? how doo i find it ?

Hello

The easiest way to find your web cam is by clicking on the start page on your desktop screen, You will see a small bar at the bottom of the start page that says "start search".

Type in the word "web cam" into the bar and you will see the web cam logo among the search result. Click on it and your web cam will open and you can start using the web cam

GOOD LUCK

Chrysler 300m 2001 starts after unplugging cam sensor

theres a reflash program that needs to be done on these cars, because of extended crank time and cam / crank syhcronizing out, start there, also i had one with same code and found that aftermarket cam sensors dont work, installed dealer part and had the updated reflashing done and solved the problem.

How do i turn on the webcam on my acer 2930

I would assume this is a built in web-cam. Normally a web-cam software comes installed on your computer and all you need to do start the software and the web-cam will start. Or you may use this link to get a free web-cam software. http://www.eyespyfx.com/my_webcam_broadcaster.htm
Note, if the web-cam is not a built in web-cam this will work a bit differently.

My RV cam broke in my jeep.

Possible low/insufficient oil to the heads/cam causing the cam to lock. Excessive sludge build up, or defective/worn head or cams. I would have the camshaft lobes checked for scorging, warping before replacement. Hopefully this helps
