Hi, You would need an adapter that puts out 12 Volt DC, Output Current: 3.3 Amp and the Center Positive Power Tip (Output Power: 40W). It may be possible that your adapter does not receive the rated power it should receive. You may have plugged your adapter to a 110 v outlet when the required input is 220 volts. See your adapter for the specific requirements.
