You would be better off setting up a system for your vehicle using correct speakers, amps etc. However if you really wish to go down this line (and it will sound below average). You need to purchase an inverter to power your home theater system. These should be pretty easy to track down from any car part store or even a camping store (as people can run stoves fridges etc from them).

Samsung HT5300 Only getting music not getting voices, muffled noise from subwoofer

I assume that is a Samsung "home theater in a box" that has 5 speakers. I have the HT-H5500. Check both ends of the wire that connects the center speaker to make sure they are fully plugged in. Voices come out the center speaker. This has happened to me before when someone (sometimes me!) has inadvertently jiggled the connection loose just a bit.

I have a Box With 2 audiobahn 1200 Q 700 Watt Subwoofers and I hooked them up to my home stereo and noting at all comes out of them.... Is there any way i can fix them or get them fixed they are very...

Your home stereo is a 120V system, while your subs are designed for 12V use. Your home stereo doesn't have the amps to push your subs. They need alot of amps at 120V. Your best bet is to is an AC to DC converter, but to get one that is powerful enough to run your system would be more expensive than just buying a decent set of home subs. Also, your box design for home audio is different that car audio. Home enclosures usually use a bandpass box, while car enclosures rarely use this method.

Yes im trying to figure out what the airspace for a rockford fosgate p1 12 in sub. i want to build a ported box for it to put in a entertainment room

Hello... I can help you with this. The correct airspace for a p1 Fosgate 12 is 1.79 cubic ft. I don't think the performanace of a car audio sub will be the best choice for a home audio application, though I hear of it being done on many occasions. Just that the design of the sub is different for different applications, car, home, p.a., etc. Hope this helped! Good luck with your venture!

Need diagram to plug power wiers in

Hi,

Initially, pls reference below image. If you would want a more detailed/specific layout/diagram, perhaps it would be best to postback the model number.Almost always, the red wire goes to a switched B+12 such as the ACC terminal of the IGN switch while the yellow goes to a constantly B+12 such as the battery's + terminal. of course the black is ground.

When head unit is removed from radio why does the lose its setting

Hi,

Initially, pls confirm that the yellow wire is connected to a constant B+12 such as the + terminal of the battery. The red goes to a switched B+12 such as the ACC/IGN switch. If problem persists with the two pre-conditions satisfied, then there is an internal fault to the unit's logic circuitry.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
