Question about Cell Phones
OK, usually, the password it is wanting is either a WAP or a WEP Key, IF you don't know this then it is best to re-do, re-setup the router. Login to the router and reset the Security Key. (Password)
Look here is what I do... OK, go to the router and remove all WAP/WEP Keys.. under security, BTW, the Password, is NOT the password for the router, but that KEY I have mentioned, anyway, disable that security, so that your network doesn't have key, reboot and save settings in router. Now go to the Phone, and NOW try to logon to your Unsecured network, look for your SSID (The NAME of your network), and logon.. then, test it all out make sure is all good. Now disconnect the phone and DON'T Save any settings. Now go to the router and Enable the WAP/WEP Key, now when you generate the Key, copy.paste it to a notepad document, it's a large number and it's easier to copy/paste than to transcribe. Now after enabling security, in the Router, NOE turn on the Phone, and try to logon to your WiFi network, NOW you will be asked for the password--Read WAP/WEP key, CAREFULLY type in the key you copied to notepad, and enter, NOW you should be able to connect.
Now if you STILL cannot connect, then your only option is to use an UNSECURED network, as your phone doesn't support, one of the WAP or WEP modes.
