Question about Mitsubishi WD-62725 62" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

My system will not respond?

My system will not respond to the remote, either after batteries changed. System will not shut off even when you press and hold the power button on the front console?

I replaced the lamp about a month ago and it worked great. Now notice when I changed channels it took a little longer to switch from channel to channel? Maybe that has nothing to do with my current issue.

I am thinking I will shut pull the plug tonight since it has been on for the past three days. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Joe

The remote is fine, I finally just pulled the plug and waited and plugged it back in and it works. Save myself $95 service call.
Thanks for the follow up.

Two possibilities.
  1. The corrupted Firmware.
  2. Main system control IC fault.
Remedy
  • Firmware update
  • Replace the main system control memory IC.

I have 2004 chev tahoe w/ a viper remote starter system, but no key fob. I replaced the car battery & now the cars computer won't let it start. How do I reset the computer?

The car's computer wont let it start?
Well, if you changed the battery and the viper alarm is the issue; locate the push button valet/programming switch. Turn the ignition on, press and release the switch. The alarm will disarm and you can start the vehicle.
To put the alarm in valet, turn the ignition on then off, within 10 seconds press and release the valet switch. The LED will illuminate solid to show that the system is in valet.

Remote will not respond. New batteries installed. I can change channels at receiver, but the remote will not do anything, even though all the led's on the remote will show lite when pushed. 6.4 ir/uhf...

Is the remote for TV 1 or TV 2. If it is for TV 2, the blue tab with the number 2 should already be on the bottom of the remote. If it's for TV 1, you need to remove the blue tab from the bottom of the remote and flip the tab over (should be a green tab with only a green 1 on it). Once you change the tab, see if you can change channels. If you can't, follow the instructions below.

At your TV 1 location on your receiver, press the System Info button to display the System Info on your TV. At the bottom of the screen, you should see Primary and Secondary Remote Addresses. Make a note of the remote addresses. With the new remote, press the record button. If this is the TV 2 remote (blue tab on the bottom), the secondary number may change; if TV 1 remote (green tab on the bottom), the primary address should change. Exit from all the menus on the TV screen till you are back to your TV picture - then try the remote.

If the above steps do not work, try the instructions below to manually program the remote to the receiver.
  • Remote to the receiver:
    1. Go to System Info screen.
    2. Hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up.
    3. Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the numeric keypad on the remote.
    4. Press the pound (#) button.
    5. Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record. Note: If successful, the number selected in step 3 will appear in the System Info screen under Remote Address.

Ensure that the batteries are inserted the right way, if they are not the remote will not get power.

Make sure to hit the STB button and then press the POWER button.

Hope this helps!

When I turn on WII it says ''press A to continue''ut nothing happens. I have changed the batteries in the remotes but they do not respond. I have checked the sensor is plugged in.

If you have multiple wii remotes, make sure the remote you are using is synced to your system. In case you are not sure how to do this:
1. Open the battery cover on the remote and press the red "SYNC" button. The lights on the remote should begin flashing.
2. Open the SD slot on the Wii system and press the "SYNC" button.
3. Once the lights on the remote stop flashing, the process is complete and you should be able to use your remote.
Remember, you have to go through this process with each new remote in order for it to work.
