Question about Watches
There are two internal springs that contact the back cover of the watch through an insulator. The alarm nor chime will work if they were not put into their proper locations or were omitted during reassembly.

Also make sure that the back cover is on the correct direction. Mine was rotated 180 degrees and that kept the springs from making contact correctly on the back cover.
