Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

When I do an online search using my yahoo search engine, for the last few months, more often than not, when I click on one of the websites provided in the search results, I don't go to correct website. Many times I go to an address that is totally unrelated to what I am searching for. In order to go to the correct address, I have to copy the address provide with each item and paste it in the address bar. what gives?

Seems like you may have some sort of "redirector" virus...run a simple virus or spyware program like "Malwarebytes" or something to correct the issue. Also check to make sure your Internet Explorer is up to date using windows updates! Malwarebytes is a free program and you can find it at : http://www.malwarebytes.org/

As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, the actual search terms or keywords typed into search engines and which search engines are preferred by their targeted audience. Optimizing a website may involve editing its content, HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines. Promoting a site to increase the number of backlinks, or inbound links, is another SEO tactic. As of May 2015, mobile search has finally surpassed desktop search,[2] Google is developing and pushing mobile search as the future in all of its products and many brands are beginning to take a different approach on their internet strategies

How to play songs online?

There are many web sites that allow you to listen to music.
Some of them are:

last.fm
youtube.com (type in the artist or song you want to listen to and click search)
pandora.com
new.music.yahoo.com

Just click on any and you can start searching. Good luck!

I Googled Golding Young Auctioneers yesterday, the site that came up was Teen porn! I thought there was a mistake so I tried the next one, that was also a porn site as was the third site, the fourth site...

I just Googled the exact same phrase as you, and did not get the offending websites you mentioned. The only thing I can think of is your computer may have some malware or viruses on it that causes your searches to not actually be searching "Google".

I would run a virus and spyware check on your computer. If you don't have any anti-virus or anti-spyware, there are plenty of free resources online. AVG has a free anti-virus and Malwarebytes will scan for spyware.

Good luck.

I have hosted a site on yahoo but when i search in google or yahoo the sit do not *** y

Even if you've hosted a website, but never submitted to the search engine, it'll never show up on the google search or other search engines. You can use the following links to submit your website to the search engines:
1. Adding a site to Google
2. Submit expresss dot com

Enter and provide all the required information, follow the instructions and your website will be Live on google or other search engines.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.
