Try adjusting the grinder coarser when it is running. Either the grind is too fine or the grinds chamber is blocked, remove the brew unit and check the gate to the grinder on the inside right.

The grinder is set too close or fine to actually capture the beans and grind them. If you have adjusted the slider to the max coursness and it still doesn't work you can manual reset the tolerances. To do this empty the grinder of bean and remove the two screws holding the hopper down. Once this is off clean out any other beans and remove the rubber grommet cover with a X pattern that seals the hopper over the grinder. Now you can see an outer ring with lots of hole in it - take a white out pen and mark a line to mark its current position relative to the inner ring. Now roll upwards the coarseness lever to "pop" it off the outer ring. Wind the outer ring a quarter of turn anti clockwise to open the gap. This is why you make the mark. Replace the hopper and add some beans and give it a quick test. If it works ok then replace the coarseness selection lever in the middle position (5), rubber grommet and hopper and enjoy some coffee.

Xp9000 does not in form me that it has run out of beans, any help please , thanks

They only know that the beans is empty when it comes to compressing the grounds into a puck just before brewing. If the brew unit has nothing in the chamber to compress then it assumes you are out of beans.. Remove and thoroughly clean the brew unit and make sure grounds are exiting the grinder when the grinder is running.

Coffee beans don't grind even though there are beans in the hopper. Message: empty coffee beans. Grinder turns, but doesn't sound like the beans are going through.

Sounds like you have a blockage in you grind passage. Try removing the brew group. Then inside on the roof of the machine where the brew unit was setting there is a drop chute where the coffee is dropped into the brew unit. From the left side of the drop chute pull down and back, and it will drop coffee. This will clear an opening that relieves pressure on the passage. There is a passage inside the drop chute area that goes to the grinder. Vacuum it out. It will be on the right side of the drop chute.
Once that is cleared go to the bean hopper. There is a lever on the right side of the bean hopper. Push the lever back to the largest number. You can push the lever to a larger number any time but it has to be grinding to pull to a smaller number. Now replace everything and make your coffee. Once you have made your coffee you can pull back to a number that was higher than the one you had it on, but only when the grinder is running.

Coffee beans empty

Hi
Coffee beans empty is caused by the grinder running for about 15 seconds without filling the doser chamber. Sounds like you have a blockage in you grind passage. Try removing the brew group. The grounds chamber/gate might be blocked you will have to clear it out. Remove brew unit and find discharge for grinder, then push gate back and clean.

Hello. grinder won't grind

HI
Sounds like you have a blockage in you grind passage. Try removing the brew group. Then inside the machine where the brew unit was setting there is a drop chute where the coffee is dropped into the brew unit. This will be above where the brew unit was.
There are 2 knobs in the bean hopper. Turn the large knob to the largest number. You can turn the knob to a larger number any time but it has to be grinding to turn to a smaller number. Now replace everything and make your coffee. Once you have made your coffee you can turn the knob back to a number that was higher than the one you had it on, but only when the grinder is running.

The machine won't start up

in the self test does it flush the unit ? If not you have to prime the unit by allowing it to pump hot water through the frothing valve. Open the valve and the pump should pulse water out. After this the machine should indicate it is in the operating mode for coffee
