Question about Kyocera Xcursion KX160 Cellular Phone
I forgot the security code for my kyocera kx16. i need a reset code or something.
It's only my opinion, may not be a solution for you, if you don't mind, you can try this trick. If the security code is the one you were using to lock your phone, or to lock messages or any data on your phone, etc etc.. you can unlock it using the PUK code Trick which could only be obtained from the Network Operator. (almost all network operator has this for personal security). Call your network operator's customer care and ask them to give you your Puk code, note it down (don't miss anything letter or code, it'll never work if it's wrong) after that, switch Off your phone, again turn it On and when you are asked to enter the code, attempt to unlock with unknown codes or number several times. After several attempts, you'll be asked to enter the Puk Code, at that time use the puk code you'd obtained from your Service Operator. This will simply unlock your phone and you'll be asked to enter new code for your phone (this will be your new security code), at that time, enter a new security code (use codes which you can remember easily). If you are again to verify the new code, re-enter the same new code and press "Ok". Now your phone is unlocked and you can use it again.
If you have problem, let me know.
Thanks for using FixYa.
