Question about Mitsubishi WD-Y657 65" HDTV

Hi, me again! I have a Issues with a Mitsubishi WD-Y657 65 in. HDTV Television, wen I tern it on, the Timer light comes on solid green like it should, and the screen comes up to a picture like it should, but in about 30 seconds, the STATUS light comes on Orange, and screen go's off, and the LAMP light starts flashing, in a few min, the LAMP light go's off and the TV go's off, leaving the Orange STATUS light on, HELP! :o( update!...... I put a new Lamp in and it is doing the same thing, no difference at all, could it be the Ballast?..... I don?t her clicking or anything from the TV, so I don?t no :o(

Thanks for using FixYa. If you have already replaced the lamp with a new one and you know it is absolutely fine then you are right, the issue is with the ballast that has gone bad and should be replaced as it is the power source for the bulb.Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Mitsubishi WD62725 TV doesn't come on


Check and recheck that all connections are secure. Look on the circuit boards to see if anything looks wet. That would be fluid leaking from one of the tubes. One of the parts you put in may have issues. Check your voltages.

How do I reset my mitsubishi diamond tv? The green timer light is flashing.... I can't get the tv to come on.


If the light continues to flash with no picture and you still get sound, your bulb is out. Though it could be any number of issues. To reset a Mitsubishi, hold the power button down for approx. 10-15 seconds until you hear a faint click.

WD-62725 Put new bulb in, plugged up tv and get a green flashing timer light. TV does not come on.


Replace the DM capacitor. You can get the V26 DM rpair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com which has the replacement capacitors and the CD with detailed repair instructions.

WD 62725 timer light continusly flashes green TV won't turn on! Push reset button as soon as you release it ,it starts flashing again. Unplug TV 3-4 Hours No help.
