Removing the PSWD jumper is the correct method of clearing the BIOS password. Removing the battery resets the CMOS.
Remove the power from your computer. Remove the battery. Remove the PSWD jumper. Wait!!!!
Keep power off the computer for at least 30 minutes, overnight is better.
Replace the battery. Plug the computer in. Do Not Reconnect the PSWD jumper.
Now reinstall your operating system and drivers. When finished, restart your system. If everything works and you want to redo the BIOS password, shut the computer down. Unplug the power. Remove the battery. WAIT.
Replace the PSWD jumper. Replace the battery. Plug in the power. Restart the computer, hitting "F2" as it starts....to open the BIOS setup page. Reset your password here. Esc to continue, Yes to save.

Tengo una cosola Trans de consola de 240000 BTU cuando me la istalaron no funcionaba movieron el abanico y funciono.. aparentamente es el abanico. Actualmente esta funcionando. Que debo hacer.
