Mine turns on for a few seconds, racing to rop speed, then dies. Does this everytime I try to yse it now..used to run sometimes..
i unplugged it for 1 hou'ish to see if any electronic / software needed to "reset". But did not help. ** I Find it interesting that it does appear to work without the glass / container adding to the resistance on the motor. Any ideas?? NO ONE anywhere seems to be willing to help. I am waiting on a email back from Kitchenaid; Whom I have been loyal to for many years..but the products seem to be declining in quality...and the name / brand may be in decline.

Dissassemble

Assemble it with motor secure and base & feet on. Drill 3 or 4mm hole in edge of coupling Put screwdriver into hole on a large angle and whack the handle to undo the coupling. You are whacking it to turn in the same direction it turns when the motor is running.

It is more likely the motor is faulty than the circuit board. Test the motor with a meter.

How do I take off the coupling

Lever it up with a flat blade screwdriver on one side and then the other. The thread is only aluminium and will strip quite easily. Clear the motor threads of debris before you fit the new one.

I was using my blender and stopped to add more ice for a smoothy mix, but when I tried to start it up again the lights began flashing at random but the blender would not work. Why?

It sounds like it may have overheated. Firstly, Switch it off and let it cool down for a few hours. Quite often it will burst back into life. If not, you will probably need a new control board. These come in several variations:

When I turn my blender on, it runs for only a few seconds, then stops and all the lights on the panel flash on and off.

More often than not it will need the motor to be replaced, only Kitchen Aid parts will do, motors are usually unique to brands and models. Sometimes it can be the control/button panel but normally the motor.

Just purchased switched on not working all the blender option lights are lit

Hi Steve..... since this is new, return it. There is no reset. Also, once you open it up to work on it the warranty is out the window!

The coleman rechargable blender not blending

Subject: Rechargeable Portable Blender Model No. 850-870

I was given one of these blenders for Christmas. I charged it through 3
cycles, used it once and the battery was dead. Charged it through another 5
charge cycles and used it once only to then have another dead battery. I
have put it through at least another 8 charge cycles, and it indicates a
DEAD battery. I have managed to blend two (2) 3/4 full pitchers in total. On
trying to start it now the green light 'flickers' quickly on and shuts down.

This is a totally useless device.

I would like to return it for a full refund, including shipping.
