After removing the mower deck you can see the spring and it was installed upside down from the factory I took it off and turned the hook down like it should have been and all is well.
    Thanks for the input

The spring will be attached to the tensioner pully right on top, there is a threaded bolt with nut holding the spring on, I just had to order the clutch cable because the spring broke, from rubbing on metal when engaging and disengaging the clutch lever.

Should the release bearing on a 1275 midget be touching the pressure plate when not in use

No it shouldn't touch. You might want to check and see if the clutch plate was installed the right way. If clutch plates are installed backwards, this will cause the tongs on the pressure plate to be pushed out further towards the bearing. And will squeal.

Why does my toyota hilux d4d 2008 have a hard "clap" sound when chaning gears, releasing the clutch?

hard to be sure with out hearing the noise, two things I have come across in the work shop . Loose or broken engine mount. Or broken springs in the clutch driven plate. a worn throw out bearing can make a noise when the clutch is in use.

Everytime i push clutch pedal the flywheel rubs on starter

I would need to inspect the problem to even have a guess as to what you did wrong or if the part is incorrect for the application.

I have a metal on metal sound when my Jimmy is in acceleration only and between 80 and 100 km per hour. It sounds like two metal discs rubbing side by side. If you let off the gas pedal, the noise is gone....

if its an auto gearbox could be clutch cover springs falling apart or the dif needs replacing. if you roll along with engine off and auto box in neutral and no noise then its clutch / gearbox.

Clutch tenion spring rubbing derby cover making rubbing sound.

If you've got anything rubbing the derby cover, you've got a real problem somewhere. Go to this site and look up your bike under OEM parts. Stand the bike up fairly straight and take the derby cover off. Try to determine what is making the noise and get back with me. If your bike is a Road King or any other Big Twin, the clutch spring is a "diaphragm" type spring meaning it's a flat round disc spring. It's not a coil spring and nothing should be even near the derby cover. The only thing that I can possibly think of rubbing is the clutch adjuster screw lock nut may have come loose and worked it way out far enough to rub but I've never seen that happen because the clutch rotates the wrong way.

Rubbing noise from agitator in top load kenmore washing machine

I can't find your model number on the Sears Parts Site:

If this is a basic top load, direct drive, Neutral Drain washer, the problem could point to the transmission "Agitate Cams".

See the following Whirlpool / Kenmore Service Manual for these washers.$FILE/L-55.pdf

The agitate cams are used to raise the agitate gear above the connecting rack during the spin cycle.

Following is a Whirlpool parts list for commercial versions of these washers although the consumer model uses the same part numbers.

See part # 62580 (About $15.00)

I had the same problem with gear grinding and this solved it.

See the following for how to pull the transmission. You don't have to remove the tub!!

Pull the transmission.

Remove the clutch (the spring holding the clutch to the spin pinion is a bear to replace.

Remove the 8 transmission screws carefully, the transmission is full (15 oz.) of 80-90 weight oil.

Remove the transmission cover.

Pull off the spin pinion.

Push down on the agitate spring and remove the spring clip. Note where is attaches to the main shaft.

The two plastic agitate cam parts pull right off. Don't lose the washer on top of the cams.

Replace the cams, washer, spring and clip, pinion, oil (assuming you drained the oil first), cover and clutch parts.

Line up the transmission so that the release cam on the brake drum will snap onto the clutch spring retaining clip and put all parts back in the washer.

The basic tools are screwdriver, small socket set with up to a 1/2" socket, vice grips or good pliers (to remove and replace clips)

It sounds like a complicated job but it really isn't and certainly less expensive that a $170 transmission.

Getting harder and harder to place into gear. Also, when the clutch is disengaged (pedal down), I will hear a louder noise, sounds like something is rubbing on something

It seems like the clutch pressure plate has gone, not releasing the clutch plate once the pedal is operated.
The noise you hear, is it a screeching one or is it like the gears rubbing eachother.
If its a screeching noise thn its the release bearing and if its a heavier grinding noise thn its the gears.
Guess you will have to replace the clutch pressure plate, its highly recomended though to replace the pro-kit,i.e the clutch plate, pressure plate and the release bearing.
Good luck.
