That is a good call! You can test for spark the next time the mower wont start and confirm it.
You should remove the engine cover and see if the airpath is blocked with dirt, debris or even animal nests. When you are there you can swap the coil(s) out. You should find out about proper gap specs for the style coil you are replacing by looking it up either on the Husq or Kawi website. Whichever is more specific.
