Can you run a 1200w pioneer sub and 2x9x9 inch car speakers to a 600w pioneer 4 channell amp??

depends on what the RMS is for the subs because although the subs are 1200 watts, there is a minumim standard you have to follow. If you don't atleast run the lowest wattage thru them, then you will most definately damage the speakers....you should also be aware of the fact that your "600w Pioneer-4 channel amp doesn't even push a true 600 watts... Your best bet is to upgrade ur amp, or add an additional amp to your set-up. And you really need to pay close att to over or under running your power to your stereo system because you'll burn out ur altenator rather quickly. Use proper wattage , and you should also look into getting a power-cell which lessens the chances of destroying your altenator and helps to ensure that your stereo system sounds to its full potential.....

I have a Kicker 2500.1 monoblock amp. I am going to run 4 15 inch Kicker L5 subs to this one amp. What ohm subs do I need to purchase? Dual 2 ohm, or dual 4 ohm? Also, how would I wire these subs to pull a...

make sure that you get dual 2 ohm subs. to get a 1 ohm load, wire each sub in a series. that means the positive from one coil, connected to the negative of the opposite coil. then the other two leads will be your active speaker wires. that will give you a 4 ohm load for each sub. once all 4 are wired like this, you simply take all of the positive wires that you have left, and combine them at the amp. do the same with all of the negative wires. that will give you 1 ohm. just be extra careful to make sure every sub is wired exactly the same, otherwise your sound quality will be greatly reduced.
also, 2500 watts isnt as much power as these subs will take if wired together. it will still sound awesome, but I reccommend turning the level on your amp up just until you hear a bit of distortion, then back it off a hair. being slightly underpowered will cause you to have some distortion in your bass. playing distorted notes builds up alot of heat in the voice coils, and these subs are VERY sensitive to overheating.

Protection light comes on went the amp is turn on and it stays on for four seconds and then the amp turn on

Disconnect any speaker from the amp then re-power. If it still goes into protection, your amp needs serviced. Shorted output transistors most likely. And check your Sub for shorts as well. If the voicecoil on the sub is burnt, it will short any amp. If you can use a meter, check the resistance on the sub. Hope this helps

Subwoofer Output Not Working...

The first thing to try is disconnecting ONE of the two subs. See if you get more bass with a single sub than with both. If you do, re-connect the second subwoofer, but reverse the (+) and (-) wires.
