Question about Sony Net MD Walkman MZ-N510 MiniDisc Recorder
MD's are physically incapable of digitally uploading their content to
external devices. Digital transfers are a one-way street into the
player: the original recording remains on the host pc and a copy is
transferred onto the player.
There is no hack, no software and nothing else which will allow digital uploads as the hardware just isn't there to start with. The only way to transfer recordings is to record them from the headphone socket (set volume to maximum and turn digital signal processing off, or better still use the menu selection to set the headphone socket to LINE output if your model has that feature). To do this you just need a standard male to male headphone lead.
