Question about Kodak EasyShare M853 Digital Camera
Here is a quote from Kodac.com regarding corrupt files:
Stored pictures are corrupted.
Formatting deletes all pictures/videos, including protected files. Removing the card during formatting may damage the card.
This problem could be due to a lot of things- a dirty contact in the docking system, or some physical damage. but since both cameras have a problem with the dock, it would point to the dock as the main problem. You can try to clean connector fingers with electrical contact cleaner, but sometimes they are oxidized and are stubborn.
Check out the dock good, it sure sounds like that's your problem.
