SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

RESET ALL Button

I'm convinced you already did read the user manual. There are three things you can reset:
1. User settings. In menu mode P, you can undo all the settings you made. Page 69.
2. Reset all settings. Page 151 Menu settings, chose the wrench symbol and chose reset all. All settings will be restored to factory settings.
3. Reset file numbering. Page 154 Menu settings, chose the wrench symbol and chose reset file numbering.
In the same menu is also the view firmware version. Yours should read Coolpix P90 Ver.X.X .
The latest update of firmware for the P90 is 1.1 Great chance your camera came with that revision already. If you registered your camera with Nikon, they will inform you when a new firmware is released.
Really, there is nothing more you can reset on the camera.
So if something is wrong, it can't be helped with the reset you have in mind, because that reset does not exist.
If you want the firmware 1.1, goto Nikon USA and support. Everything you want is there.

My IBM computer doesn't recognize when I plug in the usb camera patch cord and even the display goes blank on the camera. So do I need a new driver or camera

Welcome to Fixya
Did you accidentally dropped the camera? You should be able to see options when you plug in the camera to your computer. Try to reset the camera first to factory state as part of our initial troubleshooting.See procedure below:
Select reset settings icon Press set button Reset setting screen should appear then press YES Press the SET button Camera setting should be reset then test the issue again
Thank you for using Fixya!

I need to reset the camera!! it turns on and says turn off & try again

to reset your camera, turn it off, pull the battery. With the battery pulled, press and hold the power for 30 seconds. Release the button, then put the battery back in and power back on. This should clear any power messages.

Can i reset the settings to the original factory settings?

In order to reset the camera settings to its default values you need to do the following:

-Press the MENU button
-Use the left or right arrow keys to select the Settings menu (its icon looks like a wrench and hammer)
-Use the up or down arrow keys to scroll to the choice that says "Reset ALL..."
-Press the "Func./Set" button to confirm your choice.

This will reset the camera to its factory default settings.

ALL RESET

The ALL RESET function works two ways. When it is set to ON it restores the camera to the default settings once the camera is powered off. You can still put in custom settings, but they will be reset when you turn the camera off. When it is set to OFF the camera remembers the settings you have entered. For example, if you want the camera to always start up in the 3:2 aspect ratio you would turn ALL RESET to OFF and then select the 3:2 quality setting. The 3:2 setup will be there every time you start the camera up until you set ALL RESET to ON. When ALL RESET is set to OFF the camera will accumulate all of your setting changes, so it is recommended to reset the camera occasionally.
