How to jailbreak iOS 4.3.1 using redsn0w on a PC (Windows) or a Mac

This will guide you on hactivating and jailbreaking the following iDevices with iOS 4.3.2, 4.3.1, 4.2.1 or earlier:
  • iPhone 4
  • iPhone 3GS
  • iPod touch 4G
  • iPod touch 3G

The jailbreak will be untethered, meaning you don't have to worry about rebooting your iDevice.

Download redsn0w 0.9.6rc14 for jailbreaking iOS 4.3.2, links below: Use version 0.9.6rc12 if you have iOS 4.3.1 installed on your iDevice. CLICK HERE to download that and all earlier versions of redsn0w.

Here are the links to download the 4.3.2 IPSW files. If an Ad appears, just click SKIP THIS AD on the top left corner to continue on downloading:

How to jailbreak using sn0wbreeze (snowbreeze) on all iDevices

This will guide you on updating, hactivating, jailbreaking and keeping your baseband ready for unlock by using sn0wbreeze 2.1

This jailbreak is great for iPhone users who's been waiting to update to iOS 4.1 but wants to keep their unlock to keep the phone functionality.

Because this jailbreak process involves updating your iDevice's iOS version, I recommend saving your iDevice's SHSH blobs NOW! CLICK HERE to learn how.

iDevices that are not listed above are not compatible with new iOS updates (from iOS 4.0 to the latest 4.1). DO NOT USE this jailbreak if you don't see your iDevice above!

Sn0wbreeze is currently for Windows only. Possibility of having a Mac version is uncertain.

These are the files that you need:
  1. sn0wbreeze 2.1
  2. Official 4.1 IPSW for your iDevice (select/click on your iDevice to download IPSW). If an Ad appears, just click SKIP THIS AD on the top left corner to continue on downloading:
The above list also represents all supported iDevices by sn0wbreeze.

  1. Run sn0wbreeze, click OK, click Close Credits and click Nextkid_ant_10.jpgkid_ant_24.jpgkid_ant_10.jpgkid_ant_25.jpgkid_ant_10.jpgkid_ant_26.jpgkid_ant_10.jpg

  21. Select the correct IPSW and click Open kid_ant_10.jpgkid_ant_49.jpgkid_ant_10.jpg
  22. Click Restore and that's the final step. All you need to do now is wait. kid_ant_10.jpgkid_ant_50.jpgkid_ant_10.jpgkid_ant_51.jpgkid_ant_10.jpgAfter the restore is done, iTunes will ask you to set up your iDevice. kid_ant_10.jpgIn case you come across any kind of error, use iReb to put your iDevice on a PWNED DFU state. Download it HERE. kid_ant_10.jpgkid_ant_52.jpg
Once that is complete, you will find Cydia on the 2nd page of your iDevice's homescreen.

And for iPhone users, next thing to do is to UNLOCK.

Stucked dfu mode iphone 3g

Open redsnow, click extras, and select Custom iPSW. A dialog window should pop up, go to where you have the ORIGINAL iPhone 3G 4.2.1 iPSW and select it. Press ok and It should then create a NO_BB iPSW in the same location as where the original iPSW is. Second step is to enter PWNed DFU mode. Open redsnow again, click extras and select PWNed DFU mode. Follow the onscreen instructions and you should be in PWNed DFU mode. Open iTunes and a message should show stating that your device is in recovery mode. Great now press ok, hold Shift and click Restore. A dialog box should show, go towhere the NO_BB iPSW is. Click it and press ok. Your device should now be restoring. Afterwards your device should turn on.

I cannot formating my iphone

hi mate..

firstly you need to go to General in iphone setting - reset and erase all content and setting.
*do note that this will remove all application and softwares installed. Including sync mp3's.

Another way is to backup your phone first before formatting using itunes.

then restore to the original ipsw located on this website.

once iphone is connected to itunes, you need to press Shift key on the PC keyboard and a box will appear for you to locate your IPSW file for restoration.
But remember to download the IPSW from the website above.

Hope this helps.

Iphone 3G blocked after Mishap

Download redsn0w. Also, if you are talkin about holding the option key, then i'm assuming you have the ipsw file already. Jailbreak the phone using redsn0w, and then through Cydia (which will be on the iphone after jailbreak) get and install ultrasn0w. If you have any questions about detailed unlocking instructions, send me an email. And I'll go into more detail.
