Ok. We'll start with the extra buttons that you wanted. You need to go to the section which has the key codes. it should be just past the memory allocation pages. It will be called key allocation. You need to find the code number next to the two new buttons you wanted to add to the keyboard. When you have them,
Turn key to program 4 SUBTOTAL now type the 2 digit key code for the button you want now press a position on the keyboard to place the key there press SUBTOTAL. type the next code for the second button and press the position you want it in. press SUBTOTAL
Now you can go back to REG mode and you will have the two new keys on your keyboard. Make sure you change the label on the paper sheet under the keyboard.
Let me know when you have done it and we'll go to the next step.

How do i get product report te2400

Hi Cahla. Turn the key to Z1 mode then type 14 CASH. This will print a PLU report. Remember, the first one will have huge figures if you haven't used this report before. The figures will reset after print so the next report will be correct.

Can more than one clerk at a time use the Casio TE2400

It is called clerk interrupt and your model can support it but it needs to be turned on. If you are running tabs (guest accounts) on the machine already, you can't turn it on (one or the other as they use the same memory). It is normally turned on by the dealer before you receive the machine from new. The dealer manual should have the instructions. I don't have the dealer info for this model but you can get it from C-tech here:

I am trying to formatt the CF card in the Casio TE2400, and have formatted it twice, but with no sucess.... I am formatting through my laptop. Any suggestions? It will let me run an X but not a Z. Thanks!

I would recommend formatting it in the cash register instead. It may not format to the same file system in the PC.

Im using TE2400 but i do know how to set table number into the mechine

Hi. You type the table number, then press the NEW/OLD button, or sometimes it may have a NEW CHECK button. The machine must be set up for table tracking before you can use these functions. Your dealer should have set the MAC code for table tracking files, then memory allocation for enough tables, then the keyboard buttons required for tracking.

Lost programming with power failure on te2400 have backup card but no instructions to reload program

This means the battery has failed. Since you will need to take the machine to a dealer to have the battery changed, give them the backup and they can restore your programming.

Flexion1: Casio Cash Register TE-2400 buttons

These three things are all non standard for cash registers and will require codes that I don't have. they can probably be achieved but it will require the machine setting tables from the manual to set the options. My notes are incomplete in this area. I can tell you what to look for if you are able to obtain the dealer manual
