Question about Car Speakers & Subwoofers

1 Answer

Is it possible to adjust the brightness of clock and radio display in Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0 DI-D 4WD Instyle (2007 model)? If there is any sunlight, it is impossible to see anything on the display. I know how to adjust brightness on the main instrument panel, but that does not affect radio & clock.

The dealer was not very helpful, that's the reason I posted the question. I'll try another service center in the same city...

Need a code for the radio on a 2006 mitsubishi outlander please

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. You can find the radio code in your owner manual if you have it. If not, you can get it from the dealership. They will charge you a fee though. You will need all your vehicle info as well.

We have a radio in our RV and no manual. It is a Jensen VR185. Can you help us to set the time on this radio.

Press T/F (7) momentarily to change the information displayed by the unit from mode-specific

information (radio frequency, CD track number, etc.) to the clock display. Press T/F again to

return to the default display.

The T/F button is also used to set the clock to the correct time. Press and hold T/F to enter into

clock set mode. When the time flashes on the display, rotate the volume control to adjust the

hours. When finished, press T/F again and rotate the volume control to adjust the minutes.
When no adjustments have been made for five seconds, the unit will resume normal operation.

Ok I can not guarantee this info is correct for you exact model. But on allot of JVC units this is the procedure:

Setting the clock
1 Press and hold SEL (Select) for more
than 2 seconds.
“CLOCK H”, “CLOCK M”, “SCM LINK” or
“LEVEL” appears on the display.
2 Set the hour.
1 Select “CLOCK H” if not shown on the
display.
2 Adjust the hour.
3 Set the minute.
1 Select “CLOCK M.”
2 Adjust the minute.
4 Press SEL (select) to finish the setting.

I hope this info is usefull in some way
