SOURCE: Pairing Mode
I wonder if you all are having the same issue I did. I came here for the same reason, I was unable to make my 510 go into pair mode. Here is what "I" was doing wrong. I would press the call button and THEN press the volume up button, thinking that as long as they were held down at the same time for 3 seconds, and it didn't matter if both where pushed at the same time or not. It matters. Both buttons need to be engaged at the same exact time, not one right after the other like I was doing. Good luck!

There is no need to reset your old bluetooth device. You should put the device in pairing mode so that it can be detected. once you have that set up you can register it on your old device and your new device. I had my bluetooth device on 3 different phones! You can pair your headsets with more than one phone. Questions, get back to me!
