Shure Beta 58A Professional Microphone

Internal wires separated from connector

posted by gabgab28 on Apr 24, 2008

Hi,
I was wondering if you can help since I get no response from Audio Technica. I own an Audio Technica ATM31a condenser microphone. Its internal plastic support which holds the connector of the microphone in place when connected to a XLR lead broke and allowed the connector to rotate freely and by doing so it separated the internal wires. I can reconnect them again but I have no idea which wire goes where. The condenser microphone uses either phantom power or an internal AA battery.
I hope you can help.
Best Regards
